Selected Dry Hire / Customer Pick Up for your Event Hire order? Use this booking to reserve a time to pick up your confirmed hire items from our Breakfast Point location.

Dry Hire allows you to collect your confirmed hire items, transport and set up or use the items yourself, and return all hired equipment at the end of your agreed hire period.

We recommend booking your Pick Up Appointment as soon as your hire order is confirmed. Appointment times are limited and are available on a first booked, first secured basis, so preferred times cannot be guaranteed.

FLEXIBLE PICK UP TIMES

Dry Hire Pick Up Appointments are available from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM, giving you greater flexibility to collect your hire items around your event, venue access and setup schedule.

Pick Up Appointments must be booked at least 72 hours in advance.

If your event is less than 72 hours away and you require an urgent Pick Up, please call or text Fiona on 0424 444 470 before placing your hire order so we can confirm whether your required time can be accommodated.

PICK UP APPOINTMENT FEES

Standard Service | 5:00 AM–6:00 PM: FREE

After Hours | 6:00 PM–9:00 PM: $15

Sunday Service: $15

NSW Public Holiday Service: $30

New Year’s Eve Service: $30

Any applicable appointment fee will be shown when you select your Pick Up date and time.

These fees apply to the Pick Up Appointment and are separate from the hire price of your equipment.

All Pick Ups are by appointment only. Please arrive at your confirmed time so our team can have your order prepared and ready for you.

HOW IT WORKS

BOOK YOUR HIRE ITEMS

Browse our Event Hire range and place your order, selecting Dry Hire / Customer Pick Up where available.

Your hire products must be booked before arranging your Pick Up Appointment. Booking a Pick Up Appointment does not reserve or hire any equipment.

BOOK YOUR PICK UP APPOINTMENT

Once your hire order is confirmed, choose an available date and time to pick up your complete Dry Hire order.

Please book ONE Pick Up Appointment for your complete hire order, regardless of how many individual hire products are included.

Please use the same customer name and contact details shown on your hire order so we can easily match your appointment to your order.

DON’T FORGET YOUR DROP-OFF

You will also need to book a separate Dry Hire Drop-Off Appointment for the return of your hired equipment at the end of your agreed hire period.

We recommend booking both appointments as soon as your hire order is confirmed so your preferred Pick Up and Drop-Off times have the best chance of being available.

DIRECT-TO-BOOT PICK UP

We make Pick Up as easy as possible with our Direct-to-Boot service.

Please arrive at your scheduled appointment time with a suitable vehicle and enough clear space for your complete order. Your items will be prepared and our team will bring them out to your vehicle.

Larger items, furniture, backdrops, balloon structures, helium tanks and party machines may require an SUV, van, ute or other appropriately sized vehicle.

Please check the dimensions and transport requirements of your hired items before arriving.

Customers are responsible for ensuring their vehicle is suitable and that all items can be transported safely. Trolleys, straps, weights and other transport accessories may be available to hire separately.

Pick Up is via the rear laneway on Fairwater Close.

Please follow the arrival instructions provided with your booking rather than waiting at the front entrance on Bishop Street.

Complete access details will also be included in your booking confirmation.

NEED TO CHANGE YOUR PICK UP TIME?

Plans changed? You can manage your Pick Up Appointment using the reschedule or cancellation buttons in your confirmation email.

Online changes must be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled Pick Up time. Your appointment may be rescheduled online a maximum of 2 times.

If you are within 24 hours of your appointment or have reached the maximum number of online reschedules, please call or text Fiona on 0424 444 470 as soon as possible.

Changes within 24 hours are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

Cancelling or rescheduling your Pick Up Appointment does not cancel, refund or amend your underlying Dry Hire order.

PLEASE NOTE

• This booking is for confirmed Dry Hire / Customer Pick Up orders only.

• Pick Up Appointments must be booked at least 72 hours in advance. Urgent requests within 72 hours are subject to availability and must be confirmed directly with Piece Of Cake Events.

• Book ONE Pick Up Appointment for your complete order, regardless of how many products you have hired.

• Booking a Pick Up Appointment does not reserve or hire any products.

• Pick Up is by appointment only so your order can be prepared and a team member is available to assist you.

• Please use the same customer name and contact details shown on your hire order.

• You are responsible for arriving with a vehicle suitable for safely transporting your complete hire order.

• A separate Dry Hire Drop-Off Appointment is required for the return of all hired equipment.

• Grab & Go balloons, balloon gifts and purchased products containing no hired or returnable equipment do not require a Dry Hire Pick Up Appointment.

• If Piece Of Cake Events is providing Full Service delivery, installation, pack-down and collection, do not book a Dry Hire Pick Up Appointment. Please use the relevant Full Service booking instead.
