Planning your own event doesn't mean you have to figure out every detail on your own.

Our On-Site Event Consultation & Walk-Through is an ideal starting point for clients taking a DIY approach to their event who would still like the creative eye, finesse and practical expertise of an experienced event planner.

We'll visit your actual event location and look at the space through an event-planning lens, helping you identify opportunities, refine your ideas and consider the finer details that can transform a collection of individual elements into an event that feels considered, cohesive and well planned.

This consultation is suitable for traditional venues, private homes, workplaces, warehouses, halls, schools, outdoor settings and other event spaces.

IDEAL FOR PIECE OF CAKE EVENTS HIRE CLIENTS

This consultation is also particularly useful if you're considering hiring products from Piece Of Cake Events but aren't sure which pieces will work best within your space.

Perhaps you've found a backdrop you love but aren't sure whether it will fit. You may need advice on furniture, plinths, props or styling elements, or simply want a professional perspective on how everything could be positioned and brought together.

We'll consider the proportions, character and practical requirements of your space alongside your event style, guest experience and budget to help guide suitable recommendations.

Sometimes the strongest recommendation is not to add more, but to recognise what the space already offers. A beautiful view, architectural feature, existing landscape or unusual room orientation can become part of the event itself when used thoughtfully.

YOUR CONSULTATION

We recommend that you attend the consultation where possible, as walking through the space together allows us to discuss your ideas, priorities, concerns and budget while exploring possibilities in real time.

However, your attendance is not essential.

Piece Of Cake Events can conduct the consultation independently where appropriate, provided access to the event location has been arranged and we have received sufficient information about your event beforehand.

Where useful, we may take photographs, measurements and working notes during the visit for Piece Of Cake Events' internal planning purposes. These assist us in assessing suitable layouts, hire products and recommendations but are not supplied as formal plans, technical drawings or site measurements.

AFTER YOUR CONSULTATION

Following the visit, you will receive a detailed follow-up email summarising our observations, recommendations and key findings.

Depending on your event, this may include recommendations relating to layout and positioning, event flow, styling and hire pieces, lighting, entertainment, dining, practical considerations, creative opportunities and suggested next steps.

This gives you a clear written reference to work from as you continue planning your event.

WANT TO SEE THE IDEAS COME TO LIFE?

If you would like to take the recommendations further, you can request a Creative Event Concept & Visual Mock-Up as an additional service.

This allows selected ideas to be developed visually within your actual event setting, helping you envisage potential layouts, styling elements, focal points and the overall creative direction before proceeding.

Creative concept development and visual mock-ups are quoted separately according to scope.

• Travel included within approximately 10 km of Breakfast Point
• Additional travel fees apply for locations beyond approximately 10 km and will be confirmed separately
