Your Velvet Backdrop

The starting package features one 3 m wide × 3 m high velvet backdrop curtain and an adjustable frame.

The crushed velvet fabric has a textured finish on the front. Its appearance and colour may vary with lighting and the direction of the fabric.

Choose your preferred available colour when booking. Wider backdrops can be created using additional sections, subject to availability.

What’s Included

The 3 m package includes:

• 1 velvet backdrop curtain, approximately 3 m wide × 3 m high
• 2 adjustable upright poles
• 1 adjustable crossbar
• 2 supporting base plates
• Frame fittings
• Carry bags for the frame components

The frame adjusts from approximately 1.83 m to 3.05 m wide and 1.83 m to 3.05 m high. Each base plate measures approximately 45.7 cm × 45.7 cm and weighs approximately 8 kg.

Choose Your Backdrop Width

Select the width that suits your venue and event. Wider backdrops require additional curtains and frame sections. Your selected width, colour and availability will be confirmed as part of your booking.

Choose Your Hire Service

Dry Hire: Collect your prepared items from Breakfast Point, Sydney. Assemble the frame and hang the curtain yourself, then return all hired items in their supplied packaging.

Professional Installation: Our team can assemble and install your backdrop at your venue. Contact us for a quotation based on your chosen size and event requirements.

Indoor & Outdoor Use

Please tell us whether the backdrop will be used indoors or outdoors. Outdoor use and any additional attached decorations must be discussed with us before booking. Support requirements depend on the venue, ground surface and weather conditions.

Care & Return

Please keep the curtain clean and dry throughout your hire. Return the curtain, frame components, fittings and carry bags in their supplied packaging.

A $100 cleaning fee applies if the curtain is returned dirty or soiled. Please refer to our Hire Terms & Conditions for further details.

Collection & Delivery

Dry Hire collection and return: Breakfast Point, Sydney.

Delivery and collection: Available throughout Sydney, subject to minimum hire spend and applicable transport fees.

Installation and pack-down: Available by quotation and booked separately.

Important Hire Information

• With Dry Hire, you are responsible for transporting, assembling and returning all hired items.
• Follow the supplied assembly and loading instructions and use the frame with its supporting bases and any specified additional weights.
• Florals, signage, furniture and decorative accessories are not included unless booked separately.
• Delivery, collection, installation, pack-down and the refundable security bond are additional to the hire price.
