Create a beautiful backdrop for your celebration with our Lycra Draping Backdrop & Frame Hire. Choose your colours and style your backdrop with a gathered finish or decorative flowing draping.

• 20 Lycra-style draping panels in your choice of available colours
• 2 adjustable upright poles
• 1 adjustable crossbar
• 2 supporting base plates
• Frame fittings
• Carry bag for the poles and crossbar
• Carry bag for the base plates and pins

The frame adjusts from approximately 1.83 m to 3.05 m wide and 1.83 m to 3.05 m high.

Each panel measures approximately 1.5 m wide × 3.05 m long. Tell us how many panels you would like in each colour when booking. Your quantities must add up to 20. Colours are subject to availability.

Soft, stretchy and wrinkle-resistant, Lycra-style draping is easy to arrange and offers more coverage than sheer chiffon while remaining lighter than velvet.

It is Piece Of Cake Events’ preferred draping option for creating a full backdrop with a more opaque feel. It can also help define an open space or create a temporary fabric feature wall.

Coverage varies with the colour, lighting and arrangement, and some light may pass through.

Choose Your Hire Service

Dry Hire: Collect your items from Breakfast Point, assemble and style your backdrop, then return everything to Breakfast Point in its supplied packaging.

Full Installation: Our team will assemble and style your backdrop at your venue. You can upload an inspiration photo when booking.

Styling & Securing

For Dry Hire, please provide your own clamps, clips, zip ties, fabric ties or other suitable decorative securing accessories. These are supplied with Full Installation.

A truss sock is not included.

Indoor & Outdoor Use

Please tell us where your backdrop will be used when booking. For outdoor use, we strongly recommend additional base plate weights for extra stability. Pairs of 9 kg or 14 kg rubber weights are available to add to your booking.

Please discuss outdoor use and any additional attached decorations with us before booking. Support requirements depend on the venue, ground surface and weather conditions.

Care & Return

Please keep the draping clean and dry and return all panels, frame components, fittings and carry bags in their supplied packaging.

A $100 cleaning fee applies if any panels are returned dirty or soiled. Please refer to our Hire Terms & Conditions for further details.

Delivery & Collection

Delivery and collection are available throughout Sydney, subject to minimum hire spend and applicable fees. Delivery is calculated at checkout. Pack-down and collection arrangements for Full Installation will be confirmed separately.

Important Hire Information

• Follow the supplied assembly and loading instructions and use the frame with both supporting bases.
• Do not exceed the frame’s rated capacity.
• Florals, signage, furniture and other decorative accessories are not included unless booked separately.
• Delivery, collection, pack-down unless otherwise confirmed, and the refundable security bond are additional to the hire price.
