HOW DOES SCHOOL DELIVERY WORK?

Parents and carers place and pay for their order directly with Piece Of Cake Events and provide the required student and school information.

We take care of preparing and delivering the order.

Most of our schools choose to have Birthday Fun Buckets delivered in the morning by 10:00 am. The school can then store the order appropriately according to the product and give it to the student when it best suits the school day.

Many schools choose to distribute Fun Buckets shortly before the home-time bell, helping minimise interruption to classroom learning.

The aim is simple: convenience for parents, minimal disruption for staff and something special for the student.

YOUR SCHOOL REMAINS IN CONTROL

Every school community is different, and we respect that.

Some schools have a no-birthday-celebration policy, and that's completely fine. We aren't asking schools to change policies that already work for their students and staff.

Schools that do permit birthday celebrations can determine how and when Fun Buckets are distributed and can speak with us about the types of products they are comfortable having delivered.

Your school can also let us know if there are particular products you would prefer to include or exclude from the options available to your community.

And even if your school doesn't permit student birthday celebrations, the wider Piece Of Cake Events School Partner program may still provide significant benefits throughout the school year.

$5 FROM EVERY FUN BUCKET BACK TO YOUR SCHOOL

For every eligible Birthday Fun Bucket ordered by a parent or carer for a student at your school, Piece Of Cake Events contributes $5 back to your school.

The funds accumulate throughout the school term and can be provided at the end of each term to your nominated school or P&C account, or by another agreed payment method.

This creates an ongoing fundraising opportunity without requiring your school to purchase stock, collect orders or handle parent payments.

SCHOOL PARTNERS RECEIVE 25% OFF

Piece Of Cake Events School Partners also receive 25% off eligible Piece Of Cake Events products and services booked directly by the school.

Your school will receive its own School Partner code, making it easy for authorised staff to access the school's partner pricing when ordering.

That can mean savings throughout the year across school celebrations, balloon packages, milestone events, styling, hire, event coordination and other eligible school products and services.

We also prioritise our School Partners when coordinating school orders and events.

COMPLETE TRANSPARENCY

Your principal or nominated school representative can receive a transparent end-of-term report showing the Fun Bucket activity associated with your school.

The report can show:

• Number of Fun Buckets ordered
• Total funds accumulated for your school
• Popular Fun Bucket products
• Types of products families are purchasing
• General purchasing and spending trends within your school community

This doesn't just show your school how much has been raised. Over time, it can provide useful insight into the types of products and price points that appeal to families within your particular school community.

Your school remains in control throughout the program.

If something isn't working, you can talk to us about changing the products available to your community or discontinue participation at any time.

Very little.

We simply ask that partner schools help make families aware that Birthday Fun Buckets are available.

We provide the promotional material for you.

This can include:

• Printed information for distribution to families
• Take-home magnetic information cards that parents can keep on their fridge for future birthdays
