Our Kids’ Corner & Activity Zone gives children their own dedicated place to colour, create, play and enjoy age-appropriate activities while remaining part of the event.

Designed for children up to 12 years of age, each Kids’ Corner is tailored according to the number and ages of children attending, your venue and the style of your celebration.

Perfect for weddings, engagements, milestone celebrations, corporate events, private celebrations and family occasions.

Rather than filling every Kids’ Corner with exactly the same toys and activities, we select suitable activities according to the children actually attending. A group of toddlers naturally requires a very different setup from a group of 8–12 year olds.

A more complete activity and play space for celebrations with a larger group of little guests.

The Medium Kids’ Corner provides additional space and variety, allowing children to move between creative activities, construction play, games and quieter activities throughout the celebration.

LARGE KIDS’ CORNER & ACTIVITY ZONE

Up to 15 children | $795

Our expanded activity zone for larger groups, providing children with a greater variety of ways to play, create and interact throughout the event.

Premium Activity Packages can be added to your Kids’ Corner to create a dedicated, hosted activity experience.

Premium Activity Packages include the materials required for the selected activity together with a dedicated activity host to guide and engage the children throughout the experience.

Minimum participant numbers apply to selected packages and are displayed within the booking form.

Premium Activity Packages are subject to availability. Additional charges may apply for larger groups, additional hosting time, travel or specific event requirements.

To help protect formal clothing, venue furnishings and event equipment, our activity offering focuses on event-friendly creative experiences. High-mess activities such as slime are not offered as part of our standard Kids’ Corner range.

Premium Entertainment Packages are provided by external professional entertainers and are subject to availability.

Any prices displayed in the booking form are indicative “from” prices only and are provided as a guide.

Final entertainment pricing will depend on the entertainer selected, availability, event date and location, duration, number of children and individual event requirements.

Additional travel, extended hours or specialist requirements may also incur additional charges.

Your final entertainment price will be confirmed with you before the external entertainer is booked.

ADD PROFESSIONAL EVENT NANNY SUPERVISION

Please note that a Kids’ Corner is an activity space and does not automatically include childcare or professional supervision.

Children remain under the responsibility of their parent, guardian or nominated responsible adult unless professional Event Nanny supervision has been separately arranged.

If you would like parents and guardians to be able to step away while their children are professionally cared for, you can request Professional Event Nanny Supervision through the Kids’ Corner Booking Form.

Staffing requirements are determined according to the number and ages of children attending, duration of care and individual care requirements.

Where Event Nanny supervision is requested, availability, required staffing and applicable pricing will be confirmed following review of your booking information.

STYLED TO SUIT YOUR CELEBRATION

A children’s activity space doesn’t need to look like a play centre.

Our standard Kids’ Corners use neutral styling elements designed to sit comfortably within weddings, private celebrations, corporate events and other professionally styled occasions.

Where possible, elements of the Kids’ Corner can be coordinated with your event colour palette and overall celebration.

Final styling and activity selections will depend on the package selected, children’s ages, venue, available space and equipment availability.

NOT SURE WHAT WILL SUIT YOUR GROUP?

You don’t need to work it all out yourself.

When completing the Kids’ Corner Booking Form, simply tell us the approximate number of children attending, their ages and any other information that may help us understand your group.

We can then select and recommend activities suited to the children attending, whether that means simple creative and play activities for younger children, construction and tabletop activities for primary-school-aged guests, or games and more social activities for older children.

You can also use the Additional Information & Special Requirements section of the booking form to tell us about any particular interests, requirements or requests.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Kids’ Corner & Activity Zone packages are designed for children up to 12 years of age.

• Package size is determined by the number of children attending.

• Activities and equipment are selected according to the number, ages and suitability of the children and may vary between bookings.

• Children remain the responsibility of their parent, guardian or nominated responsible adult unless Professional Event Nanny Supervision has been separately arranged and confirmed.

• Some activities and equipment are subject to age suitability.

• Teepees, lawn games and larger equipment require suitable venue space and access and therefore cannot be guaranteed at every venue.

• Premium Activity Packages, Premium Entertainment Packages and Professional Event Nanny Supervision are additional to the base Kids’ Corner package unless expressly stated otherwise.

• Premium Activity and Entertainment Packages are subject to host, entertainer and/or external supplier availability.

• Prices shown for externally supplied services are indicative where stated and may change once current supplier availability and event requirements are confirmed.

• Package images are examples of the style and scale of our Kids’ Corner setups. Exact equipment, activities and styling may vary according to the children’s ages, selected package, venue, available space and equipment availability.

• Travel and delivery charges are calculated according to the event location.

• Parking, tolls, difficult or restricted venue access and other venue-specific costs are additional where applicable.

• Additional staffing, extended hours or other event-specific requirements may incur additional charges.

• Any applicable additional charges will be confirmed following review of your booking information.

BOOKING & PRICING INFORMATION

When you complete checkout, you are securing your selected base Kids’ Corner package.

Your booking form also allows you to request additional services including Professional Event Nanny Supervision, Premium Activity Packages and Premium Entertainment Packages.

Some of these additional services require external professionals, additional staffing or event-specific pricing and therefore cannot be finally confirmed at checkout.

Once your booking has been received, Piece Of Cake Events will review your:

• Event date and location
• Number and ages of children attending
• Venue space and access requirements
• Selected Premium Activity Packages
• Selected Premium Entertainment Packages
• Event Nanny supervision requirements
• Staffing requirements
• External supplier and entertainer availability
• Travel, parking, tolls and other applicable event costs
• Additional information or special requirements

We will then confirm availability and provide you with updated pricing for any additional services or event-specific charges applicable to your booking.

No externally provided entertainment, hosted activity or additional service will be finalised until availability and applicable pricing have been confirmed.

2. Tell us about the children
Complete the Kids’ Corner Booking Form with the approximate number and ages of the children attending.

3. Choose supervision if required
Let us know if you would like Professional Event Nanny Supervision.

4. Add any premium experiences
Select any Premium Activity Packages or Premium Entertainment Packages you would like us to arrange.

5. Tell us anything else we should know
Use the Additional Information & Special Requirements section for any specific requests or important event information.

6. Complete checkout
Checkout secures your selected base Kids’ Corner package.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER CHECKOUT?

Once your booking is received, Piece Of Cake Events will review the information provided and confirm your Kids’ Corner requirements.

Where additional services have been requested, we will confirm current availability and pricing with the relevant activity hosts, entertainers, Event Nanny providers or other external professionals.

We will also calculate any applicable travel, parking, tolls, additional staffing, venue access or other event-specific charges.

Your checkout payment secures the selected base Kids’ Corner package. Any additional or externally provided services, and any event-specific additional charges, are confirmed separately once availability and final pricing have been established.
